FAAST Fire Alarm Aspiration Sensing Technology

FAAST Fire Alarm Aspiration Sensing Technology

System Sensor’s new intelligent version of FAAST Fire Alarm Aspiration Sensing Technology provides very early warning of smoke for high-value and critical facilities, as well as within challenging applications. The FAAST detector’s newly added ability to directly integrate with fi re alarm systems enables it to supply more detailed alarm, fault and trouble information to the Fire Alarm Control Panel, thereby simplifying system monitoring, maintenance and overall design. The new intelligent FAAST evolves beyond the common scenarios of monitoring one or more standalone aspiration systems to create high level interfaces between the aspirating smoke detection system and the fire alarm system.
