Axis Communications recently launched two new bullet-style HDTV network cameras that are ideal for difficult lighting conditions. Both the AXIS P1435-E and AXIS P1435-LE offer full HDTV 1080p resolution up to 60 fps. The cameras also feature Axis’ Zipstream technology for reduced bandwidth and storage, as well as Lightfinder and Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) - Forensic Capture to combat challenging lighting conditions. AXIS P1435-E and AXIS P1435-LE are ideal for video surveillance of city streets, railway platforms, loading docks and airport terminals.

A rugged all-in-one solution, the A8V MIND (Mobile Intrusion Detection) is designed to provide flexible protection of critical outdoor infrastructure and objects. Hexagon’s Accur8vision is a volumetric detection system that employs LiDAR technology to safeguard entire areas. Whenever it detects movement in a specified zone, it automatically differentiates a threat from a nonthreat, and immediately notifies security staff if necessary. Person detection is carried out within a radius of 80 meters from this device. Connected remotely via a portable computer device, it enables remote surveillance and does not depend on security staff patrolling the area.
