Multicom now both manufactures, and distributes, media converters. Fiber media converters are simple networking devices that make it possible to connect two dissimilar media types such as twisted pair copper cables with fiber optic cabling. Multicom’s product features an LED status display, works at distances from 500m to 100km, and has various connectors and fibers to choose from.
