Geutebruck
Geutebruck’s new G-Cam/E Range HD cameras are designed for quicker, cheaper and safer installation and adjustment. There are box, bullet, fixed dome and PTZ dome models for all types of professional monitoring applications, for indoors or out, with or without one-click AF. All have 1/2.7” CMOS image sensors, support H.264 and MJPEG, offer HD1080P resolution and day/night operation with removable cut filters for optimum light sensitivity and color reproduction.
OnSSI
OnSSI’s new Ocularis 3.6 provides an improved event handling workflow, along with new automation tools that free users from the need to monitor cameras continually. The new Alert Manager utility allows users to customize the entire event handling workflow to best fit the way they receive, investigate and handle events. It provides full video coverage of incidents with multiple associated cameras to show not only the captured event, but also the situation at other locations, both current and at the time of the incident. Once an incident is detected, video from any camera can be sent instantly to any command-and-control center video wall screen within the organization, or even at the local police precinct.
Vicon Industries
Vicon Industries Inc. has introduced the V920D Series of rugged indoor and outdoor network domes, with a choice of standard definition, 720p and 1080p resolutions. These open-platform cameras represent a new generation of Roughneck domes, offering ONVIF compatibility, higher resolutions and a lower price than previously available models. Like all Roughnecks, they are designed for harsh environments. These domes are IP 66-rated and have an IK 10 impact protection rating. The V920D high-performance cameras transmit H.264 high-profile, MPEG-4 and M-JPEG compressed video with dual or triple streaming. Features include motion detection, privacy masking, 2-way audio and an SD card slot for on-camera storage.
SightLogix
SightLogix’s smart thermal analytics technologies makes the challenge of outdoor and perimeter security more practical and viable. From airport perimeters to maintenance yards, electric substations and critical infrastructure, the range of SightLogix’s smart thermal camera portfolio meets a variety of applications and budgets. SightLogix cameras have dramatically advanced sensor technology to provide clearer images 24 hours a day, regardless of weather or environment. Camera design is further complemented by a high degree of image processing to capture small differences between the temperature of an intruder and the background to present a thermal image in a way that is optimized for the eye to see, even in less than ideal conditions.
American Dynamics
American Dynamics, a branch of Tyco, has developed a new series of 600 Series HD IP Box and Bullet Cameras. The Illustra 600 Series Box and Bullet cameras deliver exceptional HD video quality in all lighting conditions. The true day/night and wide dynamic range features provide superior low-light performance, saving on bandwidth and storage costs. In industries, such and banking and retail, with large banks of windows that cause fluctuating light conditions, these cameras are ideal.
Industrial Video & Control
Industrial Video and Control (IVC) has developed a new hydrocarbon leak detection camera (model FV-3532-01). It provides high-quality thermal images and is designed to detect pipeline and tank leakages of a variety of hydrocarbon products including propane, gasoline and diesel. The camera can be programmed to monitor up to four detection zones. In addition to providing the initial notification of a leak, the FV-3532-01 can provide visual confirmation of alarms from other leak detection devices. The thermal imager is housed in a rugged enclosure, making the camera suitable for use in a wide range of weather conditions.
Vicon Industries
A new line of Hemispheric Cameras by Vicon Industries Inc. provides high-resolution and continuous 180 or 360 degree coverage. An integral fisheye lens and 4 megapixel sensor captures a complete 360 degree view that is delivered as two 180 degree, panoramic images visually stacked on top of each other within a single video stream. All de-morphing is performed within the cameras prior to transmission, so a distortion-free image is delivered to the VMS ready for live display and recording. The cameras transmit a choice of H.264, MPEG-4 SP and M-JPEG compressions with dual streaming.
