Barricades, Bollards, Gates and Beams

Barricades, Bollards, Gates and Beams

Delta Scientific offers over fifty hydraulic barrier, barricade, bollard and crash gate designs that can be run manually or on FDA-approved vegetable oils. The units typically remain in the upright position to protect the facility from terrorists and errant drivers. To let authorized vehicles through, they are lowered and then raised once again when the vehicle has passed. Barricades, bollards, gates and beams also feature electromechanical power, pneumatic power and hand operation.

      Compact Surveillance Radar System

      Compact Surveillance Radar System

Honeywell’s Vindicator customers will have access to SpotterRF’s series of Compact Surveillance Radar systems, which can be used to detect intruders along perimeters when traditional ground surveillance radar systems are not practical. The devices, which weigh less than four pounds, use standard Ethernet cables and feature built-in Web servers. They are highly effective in monitoring wide areas.

        mSENTRY-6K

        mSENTRY-6K

The mSENTRY-6K uses ground radar to monitor large outdoor areas and track moving objects. The tactical software, Cortex, correlates radar targets to geo-zones that can initiate actions like pointing high zoom cameras at the intruder. When deployed with a 4G LTE radio, mSENTRY-6K broadcasts sensor and mapping data to responders over the Internet.

          NetWave NW8 Wireless Ethernet Link

          NetWave NW8 Wireless Ethernet Link

ComNet’s NetWave NW8 wireless Ethernet link is designed to support redundant ring and “drop-and-insert” functionality on a wireless network. The NW8 is a dual radio version of the recently introduced NW series of environmentally hardened wireless Ethernet products. ComNet positions this product as a solution for large-scale perimeter protection for facilities such as airports, border patrol and other large facilities where a wired infrastructure is cost-prohibitive. The NW8 models feature dual gigabit Ethernet ports that support up to two IP connections and allow for multiple IP cameras to be aggregated onto the wireless network. The NW8 also supports optional IEEE802.3at PSE (Power Sourcing Equipment) for powering PoE connected devices, such as IP PoE cameras and simplifying installation.

DINION IP Imager 9000 HD Camera

DINION IP Imager 9000 HD Camera

The new DINION IP imager 9000 HD camera from Bosch Security Systems is designed for perimeter protection and the surveillance of critical infrastructures, such as power plants and water treatment facilities. These types of applications require robust and reliable IP video surveillance solutions that proactively guard the property’s fences day and night, regardless of weather and lighting conditions. The DINION IP imager 9000 HD has an extremely rugged design and built-in active infrared lighting to withstand harsh weather conditions and penetrate darkness. Its unique features ensure that relevant objects of interest are captured with the highest level of detail possible, regardless of harsh backlight or front light, using intelligent Auto Exposure from Bosch. The Bosch intelligent Auto Exposure feature (iAE) overcomes this challenge by automatically adjusting the camera’s settings to increase the dynamic range of the camera.

              Integrated Door Controller

              Integrated Door Controller

The Integrated Door Controller (QIC) is powered over Ethernet and provides perimeter control for the facility. The Integrated Door Controller (QIC) also offers the following enhancements to the EL Series Electronic Lock: a compact single door controller that mounts at the door in a double gang box for easy installation; it uses an existing network infrastructure and connects to closest network switch with single Cat 5/Cat 6 cable; PoE that carries both data and power for controller and peripheral door hardware; it buffers up to 16,000 local events when disconnected from the host, so events are never lost; secure transmissions with end-to-end AES 128-bit encryption and more.

                DSC720 1M Bollards

                DSC720 1M Bollards

In a crash test, Delta Scientific’s new DSC720-1M bollards, created to stop taller trucks such as those found in Europe and the Mideast from tumbling over anti-terrorist crash-proof bollards, stopped a 15,000 pound (66.7 Km) flatbed truck impacting at 50 miles per hour (80 kph) with a -0.5 meter penetration of the vehicle, creating an M50, P1 ASTM rating. The bollards caused severe damage to the engine and drive train. The new bollards feature a variety of power options including Delta’s hydraulic power unit (HPU), all-weather pneumatic, electro-mechanical, manual or fixed post.
