Alex Dubrovsky : Director of Software Engineering & Threat Research, Dell SonicWALL
Alex is the architect and the original inventor of Dell SonicWALL’s Reassembly-Free Deep Packet Inspection technology (RFDPI) – core differentiating technology for Dell SonicWALL Network Security products. He is also the primary author of Reassembly-Free Deep Packet inspection patents and reassembly-free gateway file scanning patents and in total the primary author of more than 10 U.S. issued patents in the network security and content security areas. In Dell SonicWALL, Alex is a Director of Software Engineering & Threat Research, responsible for all of threat prevention security services, functionality and all of Deep Packet Inspection related technology software development: Intrusion Prevention (IPS), Gateway Anti-Virus, Application Intelligence & Control, SSL decryption (DPI-SSL) and runs the entire Dell SonicWALL Threat Research team. Alex has been with Dell SonicWALL for over 12 years and has a total of 15 years industry work experience (in software R&D and threat research) in individual contributor and leadership roles. Alex holds B.S. in Computer Science & Engineering and M.S in Computer Science, both from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
Ken Dang: Product Marketing Manager
Ken Dang has well over 12 years of technology product management and product marketing experience creating and directing product development and launch strategies for new product introductions. He is specialized in the network and information security, data management, data protection, disaster recovery and storage industry. Ken is currently the Product Marketing Manager principally responsible for managing and driving the product marketing lifecycle for Dell Security’s enterprise firewall and policy and management product lines.
