AI is Changing Security

Artificial Intelligence has fundamentally changed video surveillance. AI has indeed played a transformative role in the field of video security, bringing about significant advancements and improvements. Here are some ways in which AI has fundamentally changed video security.

  1. Object recognition and tracking. AI algorithms can analyze video feeds in real-time to recognize and track specific objects or individuals. This is crucial for identifying potential security threats or tracking the movement of people or vehicles.
  2. Anomaly detection. AI-powered video security systems can detect unusual or suspicious behavior by learning matters and identifying anomalies. For example, it can alert security staff if there is an unexpected object or person in a restricted area.
  3. Facial recognition. Facial recognition technology, driven by AI, allows for the identification and verification of individuals. This is used in various security applications, such as access control or identifying persons of interest in crowded places.
  4. Behavior analysis. AI can analyze human behavior in video footage to identify potential threats. This includes actions like loitering, sudden movements or other unusual behaviors that may indicate a security concern.
