With over 25 years of experience working in the surveillance and computer networking industry, and the last 18 years working exclusively in the IP surveillance market; David heads up our Smart Building practice with a focus on video surveillance. He is a seasoned industry specialist with a myriad of experience addressing large audiences at major global security conferences including ISC West, GSX and more.
David started in the intelligent transportation systems market with smart sensors and variable message signs utilizing analog surveillance cameras over fiber optic transport. From there, he moved on to designing and deploying some of the first and largest IP covert and overt surveillance projects in the Americas, using off-the-shelf technologies with wireless mesh, cellular, and fiber-optic networks.
Along with designing and implementing hyper-converged infrastructure for the high availability mission-critical video surveillance market. David enjoyed several years in the security design and implementation of large sporting venues, political events, and global critical infrastructure deployments, encompassing multi-able, redundant, and large command and control centers.
