Riley Grant is a senior at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s Prescott campus, majoring in Global Security and Intelligence Studies with a specialization in GIS software and applications.
He has applied his GIS expertise in an internship with GeoGentia, where he used mapping and spatial analysis techniques to track sex trafficking networks operating within the United States. His university projects have further demonstrated the power of GIS, including an in-depth analysis of Afghanistan’s opium production and its security implications.
Riley has continued to advance his skills as a student partner for Embry-Riddle’s GIS program, contributing to course design and providing students with a fresh perspective on the integration of GIS and security. His unique ability to bridge the gap between technology and security strategy enables him to deliver valuable insights to decision-makers.
