Sheraton Suites on the Hudson Employs Advanced Security Systems

Peace of Mind Technologies LLC (POM) has upgraded and expanded the security technology system at Sheraton Suites on the Hudson, in Weehawken, N.J., with a new digital system featuring 32-camera capacity and high-resolution color DVR.

The 347-key hotel now has surveillance cameras in all common areas, including lobby, hallways, entrances, pool area, fitness center and seven meeting spaces. In addition, the hotel’s security office has been upgraded with new monitors and a security console. POM also was retained to upgrade the existing security systems in the hotel’s recently renovated restaurant, The Harbor Bar and Brasserie, with a new digital surveillance system.

“Sheraton Suites on the Hudson offers great amenities and stunning views of the city across the river,” said Ecker. “But its central location also warrants the finest surveillance systems, which is what hotel management, Hartz Grand Hospitality, has requested and received.”

Sheraton Suites Hotel on the Hudson was purchased by The Hartz Group from the Sheraton Organization and is managed by Hartz Grand Hospitality division. In addition to Sheraton Suites on the Hudson, POM systems are being used in two other Hartz Group-owned hotels -- the Tribeca Grand Hotel and Soho Grand Hotel.
