Pelco Announced As Platinum Sponsor Of World Game Protection Conference

Pelco was recently announced as the top sponsor of the World Game Protection Conference, an international conference and exhibition dedicated entirely to casino game protection.

Now entering its fourth year, the show features a smaller, highly targeted exhibition that focuses on the specific video security and game protection needs of the casino environment.

“What we really like about our association with Pelco is that there is probably not one casino in the world without something from Pelco in it,” said Willy Allison, president of World Game Protection Inc. “Pelco is a global brand, and we want to appeal globally -- so it’s a natural fit.”

As the platinum sponsor, Pelco will help host the official welcome reception, the biggest networking event that precedes the conference. In addition to providing support to the casino industry, the sponsorship gives Pelco the opportunity to participate in and present at various technology sessions and town hall meetings -- a new addition to the 2009 schedule.

“The World Game Protection Conference is as important an event as the gaming industry has today,” said Joe McDevitt, Pelco Vice President of Large Systems Sales. “From the quality and expertise of their speakers and educators to the technology platforms demonstrated by their exhibitors, this conference has become a must for gaming professionals worldwide. Pelco is thrilled to be the primary sponsor of such an important industry event.”

The 2009 conference, which will be expanded from two to three days, takes place March 1-3 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. To learn more about the World Game Protection Conference, visit www.worldgameprotection.com.
