Intelligent Video Appliances Installed At Critical South Korea Sites

ioimage recently announced that its intelligent video appliances have been implemented at several key sites in South Korea.

Most recently, ioimage ioibox appliances were installed at Korea Electric Power Cooperation (KEPCO), a government-invested electric utility facility located in Uijeongbu (Kaesong) and Yangju. ioimage also protects the Daesan Seaport, situated on the coast of the Yellow Sea.

In addition, a multiple-channel system has been implemented at KGM Daewoo’s Bupyeng lab. All three premises upgraded their existing CCTV security systems with video analytics to automate surveillance and provide immediate notification and instant visual verification.

The ioibox appliances deployed are intelligent video edge and centralized devices with built-in self-sustained video analytics. The units plug inline and upgrade common CCTV security cameras (B/W, color, thermal and infrared) with indoor and outdoor automated detection and autonomous tracking of intruders, suspicious baggage, stopped vehicles, removed items and more. ioibox appliances are installed and configured via an HTML Web browser.
