GVI Security Solutions Provides Surveillance System For Southern California Retailer

GVI Security Solutions Inc., a provider of video security surveillance solutions featuring the complete Samsung Electronics line of products, will provide a complete Samsung Electronics video security solution for all 29 retail locations and the corporate offices of Active Ride Shops, a leading skateboard, snowboard and apparel retailer headquartered in Southern California. Protection One is the security integrator for the project.

The Samsung Electronics video surveillance solution being provided for Active Ride includes indoor and outdoor high-resolution day/night color video surveillance cameras, DVRs networked for remote viewing and Samsung color flat security monitors.

“The remote networking capability of our DVR’s provides a valuable tool for retail chain managers to actively monitor and enhance the shopping experience and help maximize sales growth by monitoring any number of parameters including checkout lines, display effectiveness, cleanliness and customer wait times,” said Joseph Restivo, GVI COO/CFO. “The added value that customers receive from the remote monitoring capability is part of the reason why retail chains are a strong and growing vertical market for GVI.”

“We appreciate the efforts of Thomasson Marketing Group Inc., our West Coast representative partner, and Protection One, one of the largest integrators in the United States, on this project,” said Melissa Valenti, GVI national accounts manager. “They both exemplify the highest standards in customer service and support as they work with us to grow the GVI Samsung brand.”
