Siemens Security Solutions Business Unit Software House Business Partner

Each year, Software House certifies only a handful of security system integrators as Enterprise Partners. Recently, Siemens Building Technologies’ Security Solutions Business Unit branches in Cypress and San Diego Calif., earned the prestigious certification.

Currently, two of only four Enterprise Partners on the west coast, the Southern California security practices are the fifth and sixth Siemens branch to achieve the elite status, an industry benchmark that recognizes the recipient’s outstanding technical experience integrating Software House technologies, as well as its business acumen in delivering and supporting those customers.

Only a select group of integrators are nominated to participate in the program. Software House rates integrators on a number of criteria before awarding Enterprise Partner status including:

  • Advanced IT training and certifications (Systems Administration and Engineering, Database Administration, Network Administration and Engineering).
  • The number of Software House-trained and certified technicians, and advanced level certification.
  • The number of Software House systems installed and supported.
  • Quantity and quality of Software House tech support calls.

Snap One has announced its popular Luma x20 family of surveillance products now offers even greater security and privacy for home and business owners across the globe by giving them full control over integrators’ system access to view live and recorded video. According to Snap One Product Manager Derek Webb, the new “customer handoff” feature provides enhanced user control after initial installation, allowing the owners to have total privacy while also making it easy to reinstate integrator access when maintenance or assistance is required. This new feature is now available to all Luma x20 users globally. “The Luma x20 family of surveillance solutions provides excellent image and audio capture, and with the new customer handoff feature, it now offers absolute privacy for camera feeds and recordings,” Webb said. “With notifications and integrator access controlled through the powerful OvrC remote system management platform, it’s easy for integrators to give their clients full control of their footage and then to get temporary access from the client for any troubleshooting needs.”
