RISCO Group USA Established To Serve North American Market

At an ISC West luncheon Wednesday, RISCO Group, a leading provider of integrated security systems, discussed the company’s launch of RISCO Group USA in September to better serve the North American market. RISCO Group Ltd. has been manufacturing security products for 30 years, with a presence in the U.S. market that spans more than 20 years as Rokonet Industries.

Leading the new initiative is industry veteran Len Friedman, who has been appointed president and CEO of RISCO Group USA. Friedman will focus on expanding the company’s product offerings to focus on integrated systems solutions. He was previously with Bosch Security Systems where he was the vice president of marketing for the Americas, and at Ademco/Honeywell, where he helped create First Alert Professional Security Systems.

“While we have a solid history in the security industry, this year RISCO Group USA is taking positive steps to expand our established position from detectors and components to integrated security solutions in the U.S. market,” Friedman said in a press release. “Our ultimate objective is to deliver the most flexible end-to-end security systems solutions backed by superior customer support service. We will be exploring many different existing and new business opportunities to hone our strategy to that end.”

At the luncheon, Friedman promised to focus of dealers’ needs.

“The level of support has shrunk, I will be increasing it,” Friedman said.

This new direction was driven by the rise of integrated security and building management solutions.

RISCO Group USA is headquartered in Melville, N.Y.
