Stanley CSS Purchases Sonitrol of South Texas

Stanley Convergent Security Solutions, Inc. has purchased monitoring lines and customer contracts from Sonitrol of South Texas, a Sonitrol dealer located in San Antonio. The sale includes contracts with mostly commercial retail, restaurant, healthcare, service and education customers being serviced throughout South Texas.

This transaction increases the Stanley CSS footprint in Texas. Sonitrol of South Texas' customers will be serviced by the Stanley CSS existing Houston and San Antonio offices. Stanley CSS currently provides monitoring services to these accounts allowing for a seamless transition for this customer base.

"The acquisition of the South Texas Sonitrol franchise is a natural fit for us and builds upon our 2008 acquisition of the Sonitrol Corporation for $275 million. The Sonitrol of South Texas purchase gives us added Sonitrol presence in Texas overall and makes us even stronger for existing and potential customers in the audio verification market. We're excited to be adding Sonitrol of South Texas to the Stanley family," says Tony Byerly, Chief Operating Officer for Stanley Convergent Security Solutions, Inc.

Sonitrol of South Texas was formerly owned by Red Hawk Industries, LLC.

"The sale of our Sonitrol business in South Texas is consistent with our strategy to offer open, non-proprietary leading edge solutions to our customer base," said John Conroy, Branch Manager of Red Hawk Texas. "Red Hawk remains committed to delivering leading technologies and best-in-class service to our customers in Texas and across the U.S."

This new feature is now available to all Luma x20 users globally. “The Luma x20 family of surveillance solutions provides excellent image and audio capture, and with the new customer handoff feature, it now offers absolute privacy for camera feeds and recordings,” Webb said. “With notifications and integrator access controlled through the powerful OvrC remote system management platform, it’s easy for integrators to give their clients full control of their footage and then to get temporary access from the client for any troubleshooting needs.”
