"The acquisition of the South Texas Sonitrol franchise is a natural fit for us and builds upon our 2008 acquisition of the Sonitrol Corporation for $275 million. The Sonitrol of South Texas purchase gives us added Sonitrol presence in Texas overall and makes us even stronger for existing and potential customers in the audio verification market. We're excited to be adding Sonitrol of South Texas to the Stanley family," says Tony Byerly, Chief Operating Officer for Stanley Convergent Security Solutions, Inc.

Sonitrol of South Texas was formerly owned by Red Hawk Industries, LLC.

"The sale of our Sonitrol business in South Texas is consistent with our strategy to offer open, non-proprietary leading edge solutions to our customer base," said John Conroy, Branch Manager of Red Hawk Texas.
