Pelco Announces IP Products Road Show

Pelco is taking its IP video security solutions on the road. According to Pelco management, the 2009 Pelco IP Products Road Show is the fastest way for customers to get up to speed on the technologies that will drive the industry for years to come.

“We are encouraging folks to sign up for their chance to plug into the power of Pelco IP in a town near them,” said Paul Novak, vice president of industry solution sales. “We’ll be starting in San Diego on May 13, then continuing on to Boston, Phoenix and St. Louis to round out the month of May. And then we’ll be off to many other major cities across the U.S. and Canada.”

During these informative sessions participants will discover the benefits of the the company’s IP offerings, featuring the Pelco Sarix-based megapixel cameras and Endura 2.0. The Pelco Mobile Product Showcase will also be on hand for live demonstrations of the entire Pelco product line.

Hexagon’s Accur8vision is a volumetric detection system that employs LiDAR technology to safeguard entire areas. Whenever it detects movement in a specified zone, it automatically differentiates a threat from a nonthreat, and immediately notifies security staff if necessary. Person detection is carried out within a radius of 80 meters from this device. Connected remotely via a portable computer device, it enables remote surveillance and does not depend on security staff patrolling the area.
