System Sensor Line Of Smoke Detectors ETL Listed

System Sensor recently announced the inclusion of the ETL Listed Mark to its i3 line of smoke detectors. The ETL Listed Mark, the fastest growing safety certification mark in North America, verifies that i3 products meet the minimum requirements of widely accepted product safety standards, and that System Sensor has agreed to periodic follow-up inspections to verify continued compliance.

The ETL listing is provided by Intertek, a leading Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) and provider of quality and safety solutions serving a wide range of industries around the world.

The company maintains more than 1,000 laboratories and offices in 100 countries worldwide. NRTLs are recognized by OSHA to test products to the specifications of applicable product safety standards, including industries such as fire/life safety, automotive, power systems, and semiconductors, to name a few.

“System Sensor is proud to include the ETL Listed Mark on our best-selling i3 products,” said Tom Potosnak, general manager of System Sensor U.S. “This mark, which is becoming more accepted by AHJs and industry leaders, objectively confirms our commitment to deliver life-saving products that are safe to install, maintain and operate.”
