WYNIT, Inc. Further Expands Surveillance Product Line-Up

WYNIT, Inc. continues to grow its security products offerings with the addition Exacq Technologies to their supplier-partner roster. Exacq Technologies, an Indianapolis, IN based company, was founded by a group of digital video pioneers who were integral in the creation of industry-leading video capture boards and the first market-leading surveillance DVR.

WYNIT now includes exacqVision VMS (Video Management System) server software and exacqVision client software in their ever-growing line-up of surveillance products. Running on Windows or Linux operating systems, exacqVision VMS server software is available on factory-installed exacqVision Hybrid Servers that can integrate analog CCTV cameras and the latest network (IP) cameras on a single, completely scalable device. Each server can accommodate up to 64 analog cameras and 64 or more IP cameras.

The server software is also available on factory-installed exacqVision IP Camera Servers or commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) servers.

The exacqVision client software is freely distributed and available for Windows, Linux and Macintosh systems. This easy-to-use program can connect to multiple servers simultaneously to monitor and administrate the system. Video from exacqVision servers can also be accessed with all major web browsers and via mobile devices with Internet access like the popular Apple iPhone and BlackBerry devices.

"The addition of Exacq Technologies improves the competitive position of our security dealer partners with the ability to offer more comprehensive surveillance bundles," according to Mark Gustavson, WYNIT’s Executive Director of Marketing and Communications, "The versatility of Exacq Technology products enables our resellers, integrators and installers to better customize total solutions for their customers."
