Mirasys, Agent Vi Partner To Provide Video Analytics Capabilities

Mirasys Ltd. and Agent Vi recently announced their collaboration to integrate Agent Vi’s advanced video analytics software with Mirasys platforms and recorders.

Agent Vi’s real-time video analytics software, Vi-System, uses proprietary algorithms to analyze and detect events and scenarios involving people, vehicles and objects, as captured by surveillance systems. The events detected generate alerts in real-time which notify security personnel to suspicious and/or irregular situations. As a result of Vi-System's capabilities, security operators can increase awareness to events of interest, while decreasing manual observation and significantly reducing the potential for human error. Integrated with Mirasys solutions, the resultant platform efficiently monitors and analyzes video stream in demanding customer applications for city, road and railroad surveillance.

Furthermore, Agent Vi’s newest product -- Vi-Search  -- can also be integrated with Mirasys products, to enable automatic and effortless retrieval and analysis of information within stored video for applications such as forensic analysis and business intelligence.

“We are glad to see that our open VCA platform is gaining acceptance in the marketplace,” said Jukka Riivari, CEO of Mirasys. “We are pleased to integrate with Agent Vi as their video analytics solutions are at the forefront of intelligent video offerings. Combined with Mirasys Video management technology, the overall solution offers unique flexibility.”

Having received i-LIDS certification for its real-time analytics solution, Agent Vi is an ideal partner for Mirasys, as both developers are committed to maximising the capabilities of video analytics within surveillance systems.

“Agent Vi’s leading position in the market is reflected in the large range of integration partners that choose to integrate Agent Vi’s video analytics solutions with their platforms,” said Itsik Kattan, CEO of Agent Vi. “The integration with Mirasys is yet another significant milestone in Agent Vi’s expansion, offering a powerful intelligent video solution to users of Mirasys platforms.”
