SightLogix Outdoor Video System Receives Avigilon Certification

SightLogix, a supplier of automated outdoor video systems for area and perimeter security, has partnered with Avigilon to provide compatibility of SightSensor intelligent video cameras with Avigilon's Control Center high-definition video management software.

SightSensor thermal and visible video intrusion detection cameras are designed for accurate, automated video detection and low nuisance alarm rates in a wide-range of outdoor environments. When combined with the Avigilon Control Center software, customers across a range of end-user markets, including petro-chemical, airports, seaports, mass transit/rail, public safety, government, data centers and other critical facilities gain an integrated situational awareness platform for protecting outdoor assets of any size.

“SightLogix' technology provides accurate and cost-efficient security over outdoor areas which require constant vigilance,” said John Romanowich, president and CEO, SightLogix. “When deployed with Avigilon’s system, customers gain an automated video surveillance solution for real-time incident management and response. SightLogix’ open-architecture approach facilitates an easy integration with video management systems such as Avigilon's.”

“The integration of SightLogix' outdoor video analytic cameras with the Avigilon Control Center software will be a great benefit to our customers who need to protect expansive outdoor areas and site perimeters,” said Dave Tynan, vice president of global sales and marketing with Avigilon. “SightLogix' technology offers a unique video surveillance solution for perimeter protection in critical security applications and represents a compelling addition to an Avigilon Control Center system.”
