ASIS International Receives GSA Federal Supply Schedule Contract

ASIS International, the world’s largest organization for security management professionals, is now an authorized General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Supply Schedule vendor of educational programs, materials and exhibits and seminars for security professionals.

“ASIS International is excited about the opportunity to partner with the federal government to offer a broad array of training programs to keep security professionals abreast of industry changes,” said ASIS International President Joseph R. (Bob) Granger, CPP. “Our programs include national and international conferences, regional workshops, certification review courses, webinars, published materials and much more.”

The approval of ASIS International for a GSA schedule allows federal agencies, along with state and local entities, to conveniently contract for ASIS’ security education and training services. GSA schedules are open-ended, five-year contracts with negotiated products and services.  ASIS passed through an arduous and lengthy review process in order to receive a GSA contract listing.  Customers will save time and reach better purchasing decisions by procuring through the pre-approved list of GSA suppliers.

Government agencies and other organizations using the GSA schedule for purchases may now contract for ASIS’ board-certified, security-training courses for protection professionals, security professionals and investigators through GSA Contract Number GS-02F-0186W, Schedule 874, Mission Oriented Business Integrated Services (“MOBIS”).  For more information on the GSA Schedules program visit http://www.gsaelibrary.gsa.gov.
