Mace Names New National Sales Manager

Mace Security International Inc. has appointed Eric Vorbeck as the new national sales manager for its Mace Security Products division. As the national sales manager, Vorbeck will be responsible for leading the MSP sales team in developing new dealer channels and supporting the existing Mace dealer base across the United States.

Prior to joining Mace, Vorbeck was the strategic sales director at Northern Video Systems, a Tri-Northern Distribution company. During his years at Northern, he was responsible for several key sales management functions, including business development, leads management, and managing inside and outside sales. He also was responsible for creating several successful programs for strategic customer retention, accounts management and pipeline creation that led to an increase in overall company profitability, revenue growth and profit margin achievements.

"I am pleased to have Eric join our sales team," said Dennis Raefield, president and CEO of Mace. "Mace has successfully reorganized its focus and processes in order to become a true security company and our immediate challenge is with raising our revenue numbers in this sluggish economy. Eric was hired to address that specific issue, and we are excited to have an industry warrior leading the team."

This new feature is now available to all Luma x20 users globally. “The Luma x20 family of surveillance solutions provides excellent image and audio capture, and with the new customer handoff feature, it now offers absolute privacy for camera feeds and recordings,” Webb said. “With notifications and integrator access controlled through the powerful OvrC remote system management platform, it’s easy for integrators to give their clients full control of their footage and then to get temporary access from the client for any troubleshooting needs.”
