Arecont Vision Joins Intransa, OnSSI For High-Definition IP Road Show Series

Arecont Vision, provider of IP-based megapixel camera technology, is joining forces with other IP video suppliers to present a series of high-definition IP road shows in six cities in the United States and Canada.

Half-day, hands-on sessions will highlight the effortless integration of video surveillance solutions that combine the advantages of megapixel video resolution with the system flexibility, scalability and functionality of networked systems based on IP.

“Our High Def, Zero Guesswork road show is a great opportunity for end-users and integrators to experience first-hand how three leading industry technology platforms work together,” said Jason Schimpf, partner relations manager with Arecont Vision. “Our concise half-day event will combine hands-on sessions and open discussions with an opportunity to see product line demonstrations.”

Working with Arecont Vision to deliver the road show presentations are Intransa, a supplier of server and storage solutions; and OnSSI, a provider of recording and management software. The sessions will be hosted by Anixter, a leading global distributor of security, communications and electrical products.

“We are pleased to participate and demonstrate how our physical security optimized server and storage appliances in the Intransa VideoAppliance family integrate leading video management software and megapixel cameras, providing a superior, more reliable and more affordable overall solution,” said Bob Gitre, senior director of channel development with Intransa. “The emphasis will be on how these technologies can be easily integrated for the benefit of better customer solutions, and it's a great opportunity to meet with the manufacturers and see the complete solution in actual use.”

“Networked IP video systems are increasing the usefulness and transforming the functionality of physical security,” said Yitzhak Zahavy, partner marketing manager with OnSSI. “Multiple technologies are contributing to a complete overhaul in system design, and our road shows will be a great opportunity to show how easily these technologies can be incorporated into a unified IP-based security system.”

The road show kicks off on August 26 with shows in both Denver and Dulles, Va. / Washington, D.C. The following four stops on the map include Edmonton, AB, Toronto, ON, Orange County, Calif. and Detroit. For dates and more information, please visit http://www.arecontvision.com.
