UTC Fire & Security Revamps Business

In line with its commitment to delivering best in class security products that customers can depend on, UTC Fire & Security announced recently that it will offer its comprehensive range of security products through four primary brands -- Interlogix, Lenel, Supra and Onity.

This follows an announcement in March that UTC Fire & Security had acquired GE Security. UTC Fire & Security operates three separately managed business units -- Global Security Products; Global Fire Products and Fire and Security Services.

“Lenel, Supra and Onity have well established reputations for product excellence, and we are excited to re-introduce the Interlogix brand to promote our residential and commercial solutions. We will continue to support our strong product brands under these businesses,” said Mark Barry, president of UTC Fire & Security’s Global Security Products group. “Interlogix, Lenel, Supra and Onity will operate as individual businesses, with dedicated product development, customer support and sales teams assigned to ensure that they deliver reliable product solutions deploying leading-edge technology, and outstanding support to their targeted customer segments."

For each of these security brands, our commitment to supporting independent channel partners and distributors is unmatched. By promoting our expanded portfolio of products and solutions we’re able to offer an even stronger proposition to our customers with greater product depth and increased installation efficiencies.”

Interlogix offers intrusion, video, fiber transmission, and access control products with focused programs and tools for the residential, and the small to medium commercial enterprise segments. Products offered through Interlogix include video surveillance ranges TruVision and UltraView, Simon XT intrusion panel and IFS Transmission Systems.
