Oregon Selects ID Experts for Data Privacy and Breach Response

ID Experts has been selected by the state of Oregon to handle all of its data breach investigation and response needs.

ID Experts, a comprehensive data breach solutions company, will provide agencies and cooperative procurement pPartners with customized, preventative incident response plans, education and training for employees in data privacy, personal information security, and preventative risk assessments.

In the event of any type of data breach involving an Oregonian's personally identifiable information (PII), ID Experts will conduct forensic analysis for breach incidents, complete data breach response services, and comprehensive protection packages, including fully managed restoration services, identity theft protection and recovery assistance to affected individuals.

Oregon is made up of more than 160 agencies, representing a cross-section of populations, disciplines, and diversities. State agencies range from the Oregon Children and Families Commission to the Department of Revenue to the Oregon Medical Board.

"ID Experts won this contract through a competitive-bid process, having proved it possesses the expertise and experience to help with the prevention of data breaches and to safeguard the confidential information of Oregon's citizens," said Theresa A. Masse, the state's chief information security officer. "The company has the knowledge and expertise to assist with data breach assessments, planning, and training, and if needed, to help respond to a data breach quickly and thoroughly."
