Extravision Video Technologies Is New Honeywell Dealer

Honeywell has selected Extravision Vidéo Technologies Inc. as a Honeywell Authorized Dealer for Commercial Security Systems.

The program will provide support services for the Trois-Rivières, Québec, Canada-based firm, which specializes in designing security systems for military and institutional facilities, as well as utilities.

Having served several Canadian government customers during the last 10 years, Extravision Vidéo Technologies maintains strict staff training and certification processes.

“Working with government customers and mission-critical facilities requires a deep knowledge of everything from the most stringent regulations to the most complex technologies on the market,” said André Fiset, president of Extravision Vidéo Technologies. “Working with Honeywell is another way to stay current with the latest technology so that we can continue to provide unequaled support for these customers.”

The program offers customized marketing support, targeted sales opportunities and technical training programs. It is designed for dealers with expertise in intrusion and fire, video surveillance and access control.

“Designing systems to protect mission-critical installations such as military facilities and utilities is an intense undertaking, but Extravision Vidéo Technologies has become a proven leader in this area with a decade’s worth of success. This makes the company another welcomed addition to the Honeywell dealer program,” said Dave Kaufman, Honeywell’s director of dealer programs.

This new feature is now available to all Luma x20 users globally. “The Luma x20 family of surveillance solutions provides excellent image and audio capture, and with the new customer handoff feature, it now offers absolute privacy for camera feeds and recordings,” Webb said. “With notifications and integrator access controlled through the powerful OvrC remote system management platform, it’s easy for integrators to give their clients full control of their footage and then to get temporary access from the client for any troubleshooting needs.”
