Digital Monitoring Products (DMP) has named Patrick Oehlsen as the new dealer development manager in the Northern California region. He will be responsible for developing new sales and providing ongoing service to DMP authorized dealers throughout the region, helping them to grow their businesses.

"The dealer development manager is an incredibly valuable resource to DMP dealers," said Mark NeSmith, vice president of sales. "Veteran security experts like Patrick can provide their sales expertise, and their knowledge of DMP products and services, to help our authorized dealers uncover opportunities and make more sales. We are pleased to have him as part of our team."

His first 19 years were spent in the distribution channel, where he specialized in the development and implementation of high-level sales and technical training programs. From distribution he moved in to the integration field, and for the last five years has been a manufacturer's representative. Oehlsen has an extensive background with intrusion products, fire alarm technologies, closed circuit video and access control systems. He lives in Oakdale, Calif.
