Jim Dean receives the Paul Marcus Award for Decades of Service to PSA

Jim Dean, longtime legal advisor for PSA Security Network, was awarded the Paul Marcus Award. This award is not presented on an annual basis and is exclusive to individuals who have provided a long term commitment to PSA.

Dean graduated from Harvard Law School and had a background in cooperative law when began advising PSA. Over the years, PSA has had many presidents, multiple board chairs, a few dozen board members, but only one legal advisor.

“There is a lot that goes on at PSA behind the scenes as we are a complex organization,” said Bill Bozeman, president and CEO at PSA Security Network. “Jim has always been an important asset as we dealt with our special tax and business rules each year.”

“PSA has grown from being a small association of security companies to the complex cooperative of today. Jim was a consistent and reliable resource who provided consistent and reliable legal advice as our organization grew and changed over the past 30+ years,” said Mike Kobelin, Board Chairman at PSA Security Network. “On behalf of PSA, I sincerely offer our congratulations and thanks to Jim Dean’s service.”
