Genetec Ranks 425 of 500 Fastest Growing Companies

Genetec, a pioneer in the physical security industry and a provider of IP security solutions, announced that it ranked No. 425 on Technology Fast 500™, Deloitte’s ranking of 500 of the fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and clean technology companies in North America.

Rankings are based on percentage of fiscal year revenue growth during the period from 2005 to 2009. Genetec grew 198 percent during this period.

Genetec CEO Pierre Racz credits the vigorous sales of Omnicast and the company's pursuit of innovative solutions that combine advanced features and simplicity of use, for the growth. "We see more accentuated growth for Genetec in the next three years from the significant traction we are getting from our unified platform combining video surveillance with access control and license plate recognition systems, as well as from the SV-16, our network security appliance.”

Technology Fast 500™ recognizes innovative companies that have broken down barriers to success and defied the odds with their outstanding five-year revenue growth.
