Tri-Ed/Northern Video Distribution Acquires Security Data & Cable HQ

Tri-Ed/Northern Video, North America’s largest independent security distributor, announced the acquisition of Security Data & Cable HQ. SDC’s two locations in Houston and Austin, Texas will now operate as Tri-Ed/Northern Video Distribution and the existing sales staff will continue to manage both branches.

“Tri-Ed/Northern Video continues to increase its U.S. footprint and serve a growing customer base,” noted Pat Comunale, president and chief operating officer. “We welcome our new sales team ─ Jay Piper, Danny Cranford, Erin Green and David Wilson ─ and look forward to meeting and exceeding the expectations of security professionals in our new Houston and Austin locations.”
