AMAG Technology Expands Sales Engineering Staff

To meet the demands of its growing customer base, AMAG Technology, a security management and video solution provider, has added a new Sales Engineer, Cyrus Nelson. Nelson will be based in Northern California and is responsible for providing pre-sales technical and consultative support to AMAG’s regional sales managers regarding new sales opportunities throughout the United States. He will assist with specifications, trade shows, and will support Symmetry Authorized Resellers and partners with all aspects of pre-sales, applications engineering, and knowledge transfer training.

Nelson reports to Joe McCallum, manager of sales engineers.

“I am excited to work for AMAG Technology,” Nelson said. “I look forward to meeting and helping AMAG integrators and end users with their security management needs.”

“We are excited to have Cyrus here at AMAG,” McCallum said. “His experience is an asset our customers will appreciate immediately.”

Nelson spent the past three years at Lenel Systems International as a professional services engineer and has worked in the security industry since 2004. He is also an EMT and has served as a safety educator.
