Choice Hotels Selects Odyssey Technologies' Remote Eyes

Choice Hotels International, one of the world’s largest hotel franchisers with hotels at more than 6,000 locations, has selected Odyssey Technologies as its qualified vendor for CCTV and surveillance equipment.

“We are honored to have been selected by Choice to provide this important solution to their community of franchise owners," stated Odyssey CEO John Webster. “Our H.264 video management platform will give them excellent value and remote surveillance capabilities for protecting their properties.”

Long-time customer Robert O’Conor of Edgewood Management Corporation said, “Remote Eyes helps us manage our properties more effectively than ever before. For example, we can quickly see if snow removal team members show up on time while simultaneously monitoring areas at a high risk for property damage.”

According to the vendor, Remote Eyes systems feature superior video compression, multi-site remote video management, and integration with point-of-sale, access control and networked transaction systems.

Odyssey Technologies, Inc. was founded in 1997 and is an early pioneer in digital video. With more than 10,000 video surveillance systems installed worldwide, the company differentiates itself by providing equipment, software, and services for centralizing and automating multi-site operations in retail, hospitality, financial services, and property management.
