Honeywell Unveils New Look For The Security Channel

Honeywell recently unveiled a new look for The Security Channel at http://www.thesecuritychannel.com/new/index_tsc.html.

The video website is designed to further engage visitors through a more interactive user experience. Site enhancements include a larger screen with sharper image quality, as well as features that optimize the videos for download on Apple's iPad and enable viewers to easily share them across social media channels.

Launched in May 2008, The Security Channel features a wide selection of videos that showcase the security industry's newest technologies, introduce viewers to industry personalities and examine real-world security projects. Visitors can also embed the videos on their own web sites and download them for sales presentations, training and many other purposes.

"Video is a powerful tool for providing information on new products and technologies and telling stories of all kinds. And the web and social media make it easier than ever to deliver this content to anyone who is interested," said David Gottlieb, vice president of marketing communications, Honeywell Security. "That is the driver behind new features such as the social media sharing and iPad optimization. Sales consultants who use iPads, for instance, now have a great new way to showcase the products they sell."
