Honeywell Updates Live Streaming Video App For Apple Mobile Devices
Honeywell has updated its Total Connect mobile app to enable faster, higher-quality, live, streaming video viewing on Apple’s iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices. With Total Connect Video Services, consumers can select from up to six cameras on their system. They can view live video, record and store video clips, take snapshots, and look in on their homes, families and businesses from any remote location with or without a security system.
The newest version of the app optimizes the connection speed to enable full-streaming, real motion video in MPEG-4 format when on a Wi-Fi connection. A simple up, down or diagonal swipe of the finger across the iPhone, iPad or iPod touch lets consumers effortlessly control their pan and tilt cameras. A double tap feature centers the camera on its axis, letting the viewer get a better look at a designated area and simplify navigation.
