IQinVision Establishes Five-Year Camera Warranty Program

IQinVision has announced a new product warranty program, establishing a standard five-year “bumper-to-bumper” warranty on the IQeye Alliance-mini dome camera line and a three-year warranty on all other IQeye cameras. IQinVision’s warranty covers all moving parts, sensors, filters, fans, motors, lens assemblies, shrouds and slip rings.

IQinVision ensures consistent camera quality by superior engineering, design and thorough testing of each camera, onsite at its San Juan Capistrano, Calif. headquarters. As a result, IQinVision boasts a 0.7 percent return rate and a 0 percent out-of-box failure rate on its IQD3 and IQD4 cameras since shipping commenced April 2009.

“None of our competitors offer such a warranty program,” said Pete DeAngelis, IQinVision president and CEO. “IQinVision has been making megapixel cameras for over 13 years, and we plan to be in this business for the long-term. We want to demonstrate that by implementing this extraordinary warranty policy; effectively passing on the benefits of our success to those who trust us for their high-quality camera needs. We have always said we make the most reliable megapixel cameras in the business; our warranty policy reflects that confidence, and it reflects our commitment to our integrator partners, distributors and end-users.”

The new warranty policy covers all IQinVision cameras from the date of purchase and is retroactive to Jan. 1, 2011.
