Vicon Introduces V660 Line Of Analog Cameras

Vicon Industries Inc., a designer and producer of network video management systems, introduces a broad new line of fixed, high-resolution analog cameras with a range of features, including privacy masking, motion detection, backlight compensation, focus aids, analytics and digital noise reduction.

The V660 series includes block, indoor dome, vandal dome and weatherproof bullet models, with a choice of lenses, camera types (day/night, IR and WDR) and mounting options.

All cameras share a common physical design and setup procedure simplified by the use of an on-screen menu configured through an integrated joystick.

NTSC and PAL models are available.

“The new V660 line offers cost-effective, high-performance camera options for use with DVR-based video management systems or in combination with encoders in a network installation. The extensive range of models provides suitable solutions for almost any environment, while the consistent user interface makes it easy to employ a mix-and-match approach without compromising the system’s overall ease of operation,” said Mark Provinsal, Vicon’s VP of marketing and product development.

The cameras will begin shipping this summer.
