SightLogix Announces Ruggedized Rapidly Deployable Perimeter Security Trailer

SightLogix Inc. announces the Video Security Trailer (VST), a self-contained perimeter security solution for temporary or long-term surveillance applications. Announced at ISC West 2011, this next-generation system brings the same reliability and stability of SightLogix’ fixed perimeter surveillance systems to temporary security applications.

The SightLogix VST comes equipped with long-range SightSensor video analytic detection cameras, electronic pan/tilt positioning units, solar panels, backup batteries, and optional wireless communications.

The heavy-duty system has onboard power generation and works reliably in a wide range of operating environments, from desert to arctic deployments. The system is designed for high probability of intruder detection with low nuisance alarms over large areas. Two people can quickly deploy and set up an automated video intrusion detection system within 30 minutes in most situations.

“The Video Security Trailer makes outdoor intelligent video accurate and affordable as a portable, mobile platform, even at remote locations under harsh conditions,” said John Romanowich, president and CEO, SightLogix. “Our commercial off-the-shelf technology can be quickly scaled to accurately detect pedestrians or other intrusions while minimizing the nuisance alerts that have rendered other solutions less effective.”
