Securitas USA Announces New Online University

Securitas Security Services USA Inc. introduces the newly-created Securitas USA Online University, a learning platform that fosters management development by incorporating instructor-led, online course delivery methods used by colleges and universities across the country. This approach incorporates online peer collaboration, various types of learning activities, assessments and an interactive and engaging environment proctored by subject matter experts.

"We continue to strengthen our knowledge leader position in the industry by offering this personalized learning environment based on the most advanced and dependable learning platform available today," said Bill Barthelemy, chief operating officer.

This approach to management education is based on the Pearson LearningStudio platform that many institutions of higher learning use to deliver innovative education options. The Securitas USA program is scheduled to launch May 27.
