Samsung Appoints Antoinette Modica

Samsung Techwin America, a global supplier of video surveillance and security products, has named Antoinette F. Modica as Canadian director of sales and marketing. Modica comes to Samsung after almost 15 years at Panasonic Canada, where she managed the national sales and marketing of various product lines including security products, professional imaging and display solutions.

“Antoinette’s extensive experience building new markets, launching national accounts and cultivating relationships will enhance our sales and marketing initiatives in the Canadian market,” said Frank DeFina, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Samsung. “We are very happy to have Antoinette join Samsung’s team.

In addition to her time with Panasonic, Modica was previously the owner and president of Triangle Technologies Inc., a provider of video equipment and security applications to law enforcement agencies; and was general manager of Corvis Communications Inc., which designed, serviced and installed video broadcasting equipment.
