IPVideo Corporation Sentry VMS Now Integrates with Access Control and C3 Fusion PSIM

IPVideo Corp., a provider of video management and physical security information management (PSIM) solutions, announced that its Sentry VMS now offers integration with access control systems and its physical security management solution C3 Fusion PSIM for organizations who want to integrate with additional sensor subsystems.

The new access control integration improves response times and efficiency by allowing security administrators to retrieve access control data along with video - eliminating the need to toggle from system to systems when alarms are signaled.

"As a long-term user of IPVideo's Sentry VMS we are pleased to learn of the new integration capabilities. We can see the value they can provide in enhancing security operations," said Seve Padilla, director of facility and security services, Falls Church City Public Schools in Virginia. "Access control is a key component of an organization's safety procedures."

Sentry VMS integrates with access control systems from vendors including ISONAS Security Systems Inc., S2 Security, Lenel, RS2 Technologies, DSX Access Systems Inc. and Imron Corp.

The Sentry VMS video management solution provides organizations with a complete solution including software, hardware and storage. Its purpose-built hardware platform is custom designed to withstand with rigors of 24/7 IP security applications. Increased redundancy, performance and simplicity are provided by RAID 1 storage. Sentry VMS supports all megapixel and HTDV video resolutions. The solution offers system health monitors that send alerts if a system is disturbed by power outages, cameras offline, temperatures out of range, etc.

"Our VMS systems have been deployed in over 1,000 installations," said Steve Sleicher, COO of IPVideo Corp. "Our new integration capabilities with access control systems and our C3 Fusion PSIM solution demonstrate how we continue to enhance our solutions to meet customers evolving needs."
