SightLogix Announces Integration with Panasonic Network Video Recorder

SightLogix Inc., a provider of outdoor video analytics cameras for perimeter security applications, has announced compatibility between its SightSensor perimeter security detection cameras and Panasonic’s i-PRO WJ-ND400 NVR. The integrated system enables end users and integrators to deploy a seamless outdoor video security solution.

“Panasonic customers can now benefit from the highest levels of outdoor security awareness without costly integration,” said John Romanowich, SightLogix president and CEO. “We’re pleased to work with Panasonic to provide this new level of video security to our integration partners in support of their clients.”

SightSensor intelligent video surveillance cameras are designed to accurately detect objects that violate a site’s security rules over site perimeters and outdoor areas. Video and alarm information is sent over the network to the Panasonic NVR. SightLogix' camera solutions employ a high level of image processing to filter extraneous movement of the outdoors.

“The Panasonic technology featured in our WJ-ND400 NVR is well suited to the SightLogix solution,” said Bill Taylor, president, Panasonic System Networks Co. of America. “The result is a win/win benefit for our customers.”

The SightLogix solution includes long-range visible and thermal SightSensor security cameras, SightTracker automated PTZ/dome camera controllers and SightMonitor coordination and GPS target location topology map display software.
