M/A-COM Technology Solutions Appoints James Dempsey Director of Global Distribution

M/A-COM Technology Solutions announces that James (Jim) Dempsey has been promoted to the position of director of global distribution, reporting to Jack Kennedy, vice president of sales. Dempsey is now responsible for leading the company's global distribution efforts.

Dempsey boasts 25 years in the industry with a strong background in wireless data and infrastructure, aviation radar and military products. He most recently served as deputy director of distribution at M/A-COM Tech, and previously held leadership roles at Skyworks Solutions Inc., Alpha Industries and Herely Micro-Dynamics. Dempsey received a B.S. in electrical engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology, while also earning a certificate from the MIT Sloan School of Management in the Greater Boston Executive Business Program.

"I am excited to take on the challenges of managing our worldwide distribution channel. This new role is an exciting and challenging opportunity and I am looking forward to leading our distribution team to success," Dempsey said

"Jim's product knowledge and previous experience with our distributor network is a true benefit to M/A-COM Tech," Kennedy said. “Jim's primary goal is to further develop product introduction initiatives and drive new product sales via this very important business channel."
