Sargent & Greenleaf Inc. Appoints Kent Robinson To Chief Operating Officer

Sargent & Greenleaf Inc. (S&G), a company of Stanley Security Solutions, has named Kent Robinson to the position of chief operating officer-United States.

Robinson brings years of industry experience to his new role, effective immediately. Before joining Stanley, Robinson served in various operations and finance roles with SC Johnson Wax and Arthur Andersen Business Consulting. He became a part of The Stanley Works in 2006 with the Security Solutions division in Indianapolis, IN. There, he was responsible for a variety of activities including improving channel strategy, implementing new systems and reporting tools and streamlining back office support operations.

As chief operating officer, Robinson will be responsible for sales and marketing and will report directly to Bill Dempsey, president.

“We are very pleased to have Kent join the S&G team. His engineering background will be vital in bringing additional support to our technical products and will enhance the customer relationships,” Dempsey said.

“I enjoy working with technical products and helping to provide the right solutions for customers,” Robinson said. “Additionally, I am excited to be part of an industry that is both fast-changing and also carries a great deal of tradition.”

Robinson attended Purdue University and earned a Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering and a Master of Science in management.
