clouDevice VDI Thin Clients Receive Citrix Ready Verification

Interphase Corp. recently announced that clouDevice VDI (virtual desktop infrastructure) thin client devices have received Citrix Ready verification for Citrix XenDesktop. The Citrix Ready program helps customers identify third-party solutions that are recommended to enhance virtualization, networking and cloud computing solutions from Citrix Systems. Supporting all major desktop delivery models and end-user types, the clouDevice virtual desktop client portfolio includes VDI thin clients, high-performance zero clients, and multi-seat clients that support a shared desktop.

“The availability of new Citrix Ready VDI device solutions from Interphase enable the advancement of desktop virtualization technology and cloud computing,” said Joe Keller, vice president of community and alliance marketing. “As a result, customers now have more choices in how they meet their desktop computing needs.”

“We are very excited to receive Citrix Ready verification,” said HJ Li, clouDevice business manager at Interphase. “Our clouDevice virtual desktop portfolio brings a strong value proposition to enterprises, SMBs, schools, and government agencies. When the IT budget is tight at so many organizations, our solutions allow the IT department to deploy virtual desktops cost-effectively and manage them efficiently.”

clouDevice virtual desktop client devices are an affordable and innovative substitute for traditional desktop computers, suitable for use in enterprise/SMB, education, and government environments. Virtual desktops can help IT departments significantly reduce hardware CAPEX and slash annual OPEX, including end-point management and energy consumption. Virtual desktops also provide enhanced data security to desktop computing.
