Arecont Vision, AxxonSoft and Pivot3 Redefine Road Show Experience

Arecont Vision, AxxonSoft and Pivot3 are elevating their event format to deliver an immersive experience for attendees at their European road shows scheduled for this fall. Together, they will demonstrate video surveillance solutions with a “virtual shopping center installation” presentation. The high-tech approach will showcase the advantages of integrated solutions, including ROI (return on investment), that integrate IP megapixel cameras, scale-out storage solutions and intelligent video management.

“The virtual presentation is an invaluable way of presenting the solution and raising the awareness of technologies designed to improve surveillance and security operations,” said Jason Schimpf, director of partner relations, Arecont Vision. “By leveraging and combining the expertise of these industry leaders, we are able to deliver a video surveillance solution that will help clients get the most from their investment.”

Attendees will be guided through the design and installation process needed to secure a shopping mall and many of its stores. Floor plans will be used to help those in attendance see for themselves the equipment that is necessary and where it would be installed.

The virtual installation includes Arecont Vision’s megapixel video systems, Axxon Soft’s intelligent video management software and the Pivot3 Storage and Compute Stack (STAC).

The megapixel imaging technology provides highly detailed forensic-quality information and the Pivot3 virtual server and scale-out storage solution for video surveillance up to 40 percent in power, cost and rack space, while intelligent software supports operators with analysis tools and forensic search.

“It has become more and more important to offer fully-integrated solutions, especially in service-oriented countries like the DACH region. That is why we decided to host a road show together with Pivot3 and Arecont Vison. We will offer an exciting and, most importantly, a helpful show for our partners. I think what we have planned for this road show will successfully meet those goals,” said Torsten Anstädt, chief executive officer of AxxonSoft EMEA.

The road show tour is scheduled to kick off Sept. 8 in Zurich, Switzerland and from there will move on to Germany with presentations in Hannover on Oct. 11, Düsseldorf on Sept. 20 and Mannheim on Sept. 22. The tour will conclude on Oct. 6 in Vienna, Austria.

“We are pleased to showcase this solution alongside our partners to demonstrate the value of a fully integrated IP security system to our European network of system integrators and end users,” said Dieter Kondek, vice president and general manager, EMEA, Pivot3. “This unified solution creates a networked IP video system that is more superior yet far more affordable than traditional video systems.”
