Intransa Integrates Verint Nextiva IP Video Management Software

Intransa, provides scalable installer-ready appliances, purpose-built for the demands of physical security and industrial video, recently announced the certification of Verint's Nextiva Video Management software as part of the Intransa SELECT Certified partner program. Verint's Nextiva Video Management software is now available with Intransa's VideoAppliance Maximum Flexibility and Maximum Simplicity lines and its Video and Data Management & Retention Appliance for Open VMS and other physical security applications.

"Verint is committed to providing innovative and effective networked video solutions to our customers," said Eran Wachman, vice president of product management, Verint Video Intelligence Solutions. "The Intransa VideoAppliance provides our customers an effective option for increased storage and easy access to large volumes of video and other types of data."

The Verint Nextiva software is now available with the Intransa VDMR Appliances for EMC and HP storage, as well as Intransa's VideoAppliance Maximum Flexibility and Maximum Simplicity lines. Each installer-ready Intransa appliance simplifies project installation by automatically setting itself up, and includes an advanced USB media kit with the customer's choice of video surveillance, access control and video analytics in addition to several dozen physical security applications that are all ready to be activated and running in just minutes.

Intransa's patented and patent pending VDMR software technology includes Video Stream Optimization, which smoothes video recording while eliminating the risk of frame loss. Other key VDMR features include the Video System Administrator Console, a simple-to-use yet powerful management graphical user interface; VSA Energy Manager, which enables energy savings of up to 70 percent for long-term, instantly available video archiving, applications; VSA Tiered Availability, which enables selectable standard, fault resilient, and high-availability protection within one or more appliances and Video Stream Director, which eliminates the challenges of separate IP camera, IP storage, management and viewing networks. VDMR also includes VSA System Center, which enables one or multiple appliances configured as individual server/storage systems or clustered for near unlimited video recording capacity to be managed as a single device.

"With the completion of the extensive SELECT Technology Partner certification process, Verint customers can now enjoy the unmatched features delivered by Intransa's VDMR software technology, along with benefiting from the simplicity of installation and operation of Intransa's modular appliance families," said George Vaiser, vice president, partner alliances at Intransa.
