Digifort Video Management System Latest to be Intransa Certified

Intransa recently announced that Digifort’s Video Management System has been pretested and SELECT certified for use with Intransa’s optimized physical security server and storage infrastructure platforms.

Digifort’s Video Management System (VMS) is designed for simplicity and engineered for small, medium and enterprise applications. The VMS software, for TCP/IP environments, combines layers of functionality with an intuitive interface and includes core functions such as image recording, synoptic maps, PTZ control, video exports, alerts, events and administration. In addition Digifort’s client/server architecture allows for local and remote surveillance, the integration of alarms through system events, administration of multiple users, the capacity for automatic disk administration and a range of live surveillance tools.

“Being SELECT certified provides our users around the world with the confidence and peace of mind pretesting for use with Intransa brings,” said George Pilarinos, business development manager, Digifort. “In addition to being preloaded for use with Intransa’s platforms, our VMS software is robust, affordable and intuitive and offers layers of functionality.”

Intransa server and storage infrastructure platforms eliminate the challenges of untested commodity servers and storage designed for IT and not for the 24x7x365 world of video surveillance. Intransa’s patented software technology and optimization, along with hardware tuning that has been proven in thousands of customer installations, delivers increased reliability and non-stop video recording without risk of frame loss. Pretesting with 3rd party security applications, such as Digifort, helps to identify interoperability, performance and integration challenges in advance of installing at the customer site.

“With Digifort’s multiple VMS software options and global customer base, we are pleased to add this powerful series of offerings to our joint customers,” said Alex Doorduyn, director, product management, Intransa. “And, because each of their VMS software options are certified – from Digifort Explorer and Digifort Standard to Digifort Professional and Digifort Enterprise -- customers can be assured that they have access to the latest technologies suitable for their environment.”

The Intransa server and storage platforms will be displayed in Intransa Booth 26127 at ISC West.
