Tallest Building in Kentucky Utilizes TagMaster and SKIDATA

GuardLink has installed TagMaster North America's high-performance Radio Frequency Identificaction (RFID) systems for Automatic Vehicle Identification (AVI) for hands-free parking access to the five-level garage adjoined to the Aegon Building in Louisville, KY.

Hines Management, Property Manager of the Aegon Building, chose GuardLink/ParkLink Systems, Inc. to eliminate cashier booths from their system entirely.  This was accomplished by installing SKIDATA PARCS (Parking Access and Revenue Control System) and new Pay on Foot technology. In addition to the new SKIDATA system, TagMaster’s LR-6 PRO long-range RFID readers were paired with TagMaster’s MarkTag MeM ID-Tags to allow traffic to flow smoothly without the stopping and starting necessary with proximity badge systems.

The MarkTag MeM has a state-of-the-art antenna so that it can be installed anywhere on the windshield or dashboard, even on the back of the rear view mirror.  Fast, accurate reads ensure speedy parking facility entry.  Hands-free access for vehicles reduces carbon emissions in garages caused by long queue lines and idling vehicles, an added bonus for “green” conscious facilities.

GuardLink/ParkLink Systems, Inc. integrated TagMaster’s long-range RFID readers with the SKIDATA PARCS as well as HID cards and proximity readers.
