Ben Brookhart Appointed to Local Make A Wish Board of Directors

Ben Brookhart, CEO of Power Home Technologies, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of Make-A-Wish Eastern North Carolina for fiscal year 2013.

A Monitronics-authorized, security dealer since 2011, Power Home Technologies reached its 50,000-customer milestone in August 2012. Based in Raleigh, N.C., Brookhart’s company offers quality service in more than a dozen states and continues to be an active supporter of Make-A-Wish efforts.

Founded in 1986, Make-A-Wish Eastern North Carolina grants the wishes of children with life-threatening, medical conditions. As a local chapter, it operates solely through the generous donations from individuals, corporations and foundations. With the help of more than 200 volunteers, including the Board of Directors, Make-A-Wish Eastern North Carolina has granted more than 2,500 wishes since its inception.

The 17-member board helps chart the course for Make-A-Wish Eastern North Carolina. It also contributes a vast array of experience and skills necessary to enhance the chapter’s public standing.
